In this Privacy Policy, all terms defined in the Privacy Act 1988 Cth have the same meaning when used here.

Emergency contact person
Bank account and or credit card details
Payment history
Demographic information such as postcode, preferences and interests
Other information relevant to customer surveys and or offers

For employment or recruitment purposes, this may also include employment history, education details, qualifications and experience.

You are not required to provide personal information, however without certain information Body Pulse may not be able to provide its services.

HOW BODY PULSE COLLECTS AND HOLDS YOUR INFORMATION
Body Pulse collects personal information directly from you. This may occur through the app, website, forms, email, phone, social media, or other digital platforms.

SENSITIVE INFORMATION
Sensitive information includes details you provide about your physical or mental health and wellbeing. Body Pulse will only collect this information with your consent unless required by law.

Sensitive information is used only to provide services to you and will not be shared without your consent unless required by law.

This may include information about:
Your health
Your weight and body measurements
Your medical history
Your vaccination status
Whether you smoke or are pregnant
Medications you are taking
Other relevant health information needed to support your training

USE OF INFORMATION
Body Pulse uses your information to:
Manage your account
Provide and improve services
Send emails or messages about updates, offers, or relevant information

Body Pulse does not sell your personal information.

DATA DELETION
Account Deletion: You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by visiting Account Settings or contacting us at lisa@bodypulsepilates.com. Upon receiving a verified request, we will delete or anonymise your personal data within 30 days, including your profile information, workout history, and payment details.
Subscription Cancellation: Cancelling your subscription does not automatically delete your account or data. If you wish for your data to be deleted, you must submit a separate deletion request as described above.
Retention Before Deletion: We may retain certain data for a limited period before deletion where required by law or legitimate business purposes, including:

• Transaction records and billing history, retained for up to 7 years for tax and accounting compliance

• Data required to resolve disputes or enforce our terms

• Anonymised or aggregated usage data that cannot identify you

App Data: If you delete our mobile app from your device, your account and associated data will remain on our servers until you submit an account deletion request.
Third-Party Services: Where your date has been shared with third-party service providers (such as payment processors or analytics platforms), we will take reasonable steps to request deletion, though we cannot guarantee third-party timelines. After deletion is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that deleted data cannot be recovered.

DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
Body Pulse may share your information with trusted third parties where necessary to provide services or where required by law.

Some service providers may be located overseas. By using Body Pulse, you consent to this.

SECURITY
Body Pulse takes reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, modification, or disclosure through physical, electronic, and management processes.
